DOOL comings and goings confirm that Jay Kenneth Johnson is reprising the role of Philip Kiriakis. Soap Opera Digest shared that the character will appear on our television screens on August 18. Not much has been released about Philip’s return story. However, we do know that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will be threatened by Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) son.

There is also some talk about Philip possibly sharing scenes with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). As longtime fans know, the Kiriakis heir was involved with “Ghoul Girl” back in high school.

Philip isn’t the only Kiriakis coming back to our TV screens. On August 19, we will finally see Maggie Horton Kiriakis. Actress Suzanne Rogers was on a brief break and this will be the first time we have seen her in over a month.

Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that Isabel Durant was cast to take over the role of Claire Brady. Her first appearance was on August 12 and she did an outstanding job. She has the same coloring and features as her predecessor but has her own personality. Some fans noticed that Durant seems older than Olivia Rose Keegan. That is true, as the Aussie actress is 28. However, this could open her up for more romantic possibilities.

Viewers also mentioned that the new Claire wasn’t as “spunky,” but it actually seemed like she was less selfish and more mature. Plus, we liked that the new Claire used logic with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), as it would seem out of character for the old Claire.
