Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that fans have been seeing double the trouble in Salem when it comes to Kristen DiMera. Both Stacy Haiduk and Eileen Davidson have appeared on screen as iterations of the vixenish bad girl. What gives?

Davidson has played the mean girl for a quarter of a century, and Haiduk though newer to the role has made it her own. Who’s to say there can’t be two actresses playing one character?

Davidson’s played Kristen in the Peacock original Beyond Salem. That was a bit of a stretch, but when she appeared on the afternoon sudser in the same time frame as Haiduk, fans were left scratching their heads.

DOOL Spoilers – Who Plays Kristen DiMera?

She also appeared as Kristen in the Peacock holiday movie, Days of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas. In other words, this double trouble thing is not a one-off. What should fans expect going forward?

Davidson said in a recent interview, “They’re just doing it their own way over there, aren’t they?”

She went on to say, “Last March, I got a phone call. I was like, ‘Huh? I don’t know. That seems odd.’ I couldn’t wrap my brain around it at all.” And that is exactly how some fans feel, too.

She did not immediately say yes, she wondered about how the fans would react to seeing two actresses portray one character—even though they have both appeared as Kristen in the past, just not at the same time.

According to Davidson she said, “I’m like, ‘Stacy’s still Kristen, but I’m Kristen. If you try to wrap your brain around it, you just kind of give up because you can’t.”

Sometimes that’s exactly what one has to go, just go with the flow, or to be more Zen-like, live in the moment.
