Days of Our Lives News: Camila Banus Is Headed To Primetime!

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal Camila Banus (Gabi Hernandez) is heading to the FOX network, joining its exciting and very popular primetime series ‘STAR’.

According to Deadline, Camila Banus has been cast in the role of Nina Ferrera. Her character, Nina is the wife of Mateo Ferrera, who is being portrayed by William Levy. Although Banus will be recurring, Levy is slated as a season regular. Levy’s character, Mateo is a successful media mogul who will stop at nothing to get what he desires.

DOOL sources inform viewers that FOX’s hit series ‘STAR’ is about to start season three. The Season 3 premiere is set for Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 9pm EST; airing right after FOX’s other smash hit ‘EMPIRE’. Camila Banus joins huge stars like Quincy Jones, Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt; fans will not want to miss out on the new season and what kind of character Camila Banus’ Nina Ferrera will be!

She is possibly getting the ultimate revenge on Abigail “Abby” Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller), who testified and put Gabi in prison for a crime she didn’t commit; ultimately causing her to suffer irreparable damage – never being able to have another baby of her own.

Gabi switching the paternity test, showing Stefan O. DiMera (Tyler Christopher) as the father of Abby’s baby, instead of her husband, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has virtually destroyed beloved DOOL couple “Chabby”. Gabi just reconciled with her young daughter, Arianna “Ari” Horton (Harper and Sydnee Udell), thanks to Chad and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith).

With so much happening with Camila Banus’ DOOL character it will be interesting to see how her new gig will affect her airtime, if at all!
