Days of Our Lives News: Hallmark Channel Star Jen Lilley Welcomes Daughter Julie Evangeline

Days of Our Lives [DOOL] and Hallmark Channel star Jen Lilley [ex-Theresa Donovan] and Jason Wayne welcomed a baby girl into the world. Congratulations are in order!

A big welcome from Days of Our Lives and Hallmark Channel fans! Jen shared a pic of her Julie Evangeline on Instagram. Born on July 30, 2019, at 7:10 a.m., the newborn weighs 6 pounds, 8 ounces and 19-inches long. Jen shared the link to the exclusive story in People.

While Julie’s entrance into the world was a “peaceful and joyous” moment, the 22 hours of labor, Lilly admits to PEOPLE, “were exhausting and excruciating.”

Jenn explained, “For some reason, I wasn’t dilating, and that, coupled with the double contractions, put Julie in distress. The medical team had to administer a drug to temporarily slow down my contractions, and I was given oxygen so Julie could recover. [It was difficult] “to maintain optimism.”

Jen and Wayne have two sons, 3-year-old Kayden whose adoption was finalized on June 10. The couple’s other son is 16-months-old and arrived into the family via foster care. You can check out pics of Jen and Jason’s sons greeting their new sister in People.

Over the past few years, Jen Lilley has focused her attention on motherhood and starring in several movies on the Hallmark Channel and also Lifetime. In 2017 viewers enjoyed seeing her in three different Hallmark original movies: A Dash of Love [Nikki Turner], Eat, Play, Love [Dr. Carly Monroe], and Harvest of Love [Luna Gilson].

Jen Lilley has added several television movies to her resume since leaving DOOL in 2018. Yes, I Do [Charlotte], Mingle All The Way [Molly], Winter Love Story [Cassie], Paris, Wine & Romance [Isabella] and the 2019 Hallmark Channel original movie Love Unleashed [Hailey Goode]

Now that Julie Evangeline Wayne has arrived the mom of three may need to take a break from a whirlwind of acting roles. Again, we congratulate Jen and Jason, not only on the birth of their daughter but also on finalizing the adoption of their so Kayden and welcoming another son into their family via foster care.
