Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) may be leaving Salem when Bjorlin exits “Days of Our Lives” this summer, but fans will get to her again in new projects. Bjorlin has booked a role in “A Mermaid for Christmas” and “Faith Based.”

Nadia Bjorlin Will Be Leaving Days Of Our Lives This Summer

“A Mermaid for Christmas” is written and directed by Michael Caruso. It is not revealed what role Nadia will be playing, but reports say that she will be in scenes with Kyle Lowder (Days’ Rex Brady) where their chemistry will be explored again. The TV movie’s cast also includes other soap favorites such as Arianne Zucker, Kathleen Gati, Ian Buchanan and Jessica Morris.

Lowder, who is also executive producing the film, announced on Twitter Bjorlin’s casting. He wrote, “Announcing the final addition to the cast of A MERMAID FOR CHRISTMAS!” along with a teaser video that shows Bjorlin.

Caruso also took to Twitter to share the good news and wrote, “Reunited and it feels so good! Just in case you missed @KyleLowder22’s teaser video earlier, @RealNadiaB is joining the cast of A Mermaid for Christmas!! There’s chemistry and then there’s CHEMISTRY!”

“Filled with warmth, humor, whimsy, and just a touch of magic, A MERMAID FOR CHRISTMAS combines classic Christmas themes with an escapist fantasy element that only a mermaid can provide,” the synopsis reads.

Nadia Bjorlin’s other new project is the upcoming film called “Faith Based,” written by Luke Barnett and directed by Vincent Maciale. She is joining other cast members that include Luke Barnett, Tanner Thomason, Lance Reddick, Danny Woodburn, and Carly Craig.

The details as to Nadia’s character, named Katie, are yet to be announced. But the comedy film’s synopsis reads, “When two idiot friends realize all ‘faith-based’ films make buckets of cash, they set out on a mission to make one of their own.”

Nadia Bjorlin first came to Salem in April 1999 as Chloe, and has come and go over the past 19 years. She returned full-time in June 2016. She starred in primetime series “Sex, Love & Secrets” and appeared in other TV shows such as “Jake in Progress” and “Out of Practice.” She also appeared in films “If I had Known I Was a Genius” and “Redline.”
