The Days of Our Lives promo for the week of August 3 opens with a scene between Sarah and Xander. She’s on his lap, and the two are very close.
He reaches in for a kiss, and it doesn’t look like she’s stopping him. It sounds like Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) will trap these two to be alone – on purpose! Will they kiss?
Dimitri von Leuschner Returns!
As scenes shift, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) is talking to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCorde). He informs her that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) did not take Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), that her ex-husband, Dimitri, did.

Dimitri is then shown in Alamainia, as he tells Gwen and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) – who are in an embrace – ‘goodnight’, and shuts a door in the house. Looks like Leo found Gwen, but will Dimitri keep him hostage, too?
Kristen DiMera Risks It All
Then there’s EJ, who will open up the storage crate he thought Kristen was in. With his trusted assistant, Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney), by his side, both of them are shocked at what they see behind the door.
Rachel is then shown playing in her room, as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) – or it appears to be Susan Banks – watches her. ‘Susan’ then approaches Rachel, stating she has a message for her.
All arrows are pointing to the fact that this is Kristen, pretending to be EJ’s mother, Susan, to have one last goodbye with Rachel.

As The Days weekly preview wraps up, the last clip is of Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins) at Brady’s Pub, with Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase).
As she lifts the baby carrier, Joy feels a pain in the arm/neck/shoulder area of the hand she’s using. She gasps in pain as she tries to lift the baby carrier, and Kelsey starts crying. What’s wrong with Joy?
