It was previously reported that Brock Kelly would be appearing on the NBC soap opera. That day finally came and we learned Evan is Rafe’s male nanny. However, he has been getting quite a bit of air time considering he has no last name and is just hired help. Plus, he has been seen in quite a few scenes without the little boy.

Long-time fans know that a lot of new characters turn out to have some connection with a Salem resident. It has happened several times in the past few years and will probably occur again.

DOOL Spoilers – Wild Theory Regarding Male Nanny

On Daytime Royalty, one fan came up with a wild theory regarding Evan’s mother. Back in 1986, Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) was held hostage by Stefano DiMera (formerly Joseph Mascolo). However, she was in a coma for the majority of it.

It is speculated that Dr. Rolf (William Utay) stole Marlena’s embryo and implanted it in his sister’s body. Could it be possible that Marlena’s unborn child was delivered by another woman, and that child will turn out to be Evan?

It’s no secret that Dr. Rolf has an obsession with embryo extraction and implantation. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that de has done it on more than one occasion. There is reason to believe that he has done the procedure more than fans realize during the years.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Classic Plots Reimagined

It was previously hinted that after the time jump, fans should expect the plots to be more like classic Days. Remember Marlena’s possession? The brain chip implants, Princess Gina’s (Kristian Alfonso) story and all the unbelievable storylines that usually centered around Stefano?

It seems that we are already starting to see some of that. The fan theory about Evan would definitely be a nod to the soap’s crazy storylines back in the day.

On the official DOOL app, actor William Utay discussed the mad scientist’s history and the character’s return. He recalled Stefano and Dr. Rolf’s craziest schemes. He seemed to imply that fans might see more of the old Dr. Rolf in the future. Whether than involves Evan or not remains to be seen.
