Once it was teased that Kristen would end up with a baby, it was believed she would steal another embryo or kidnap someone’s newborn. While she did have a plan to put Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) embryo inside of herself, the procedure couldn’t be done. This is because Dr. Rolf told Kristen that she was already pregnant.

It is rare, but there are a few medical conditions that can give false positives, according to the American Pregnancy Association. The tests measure hCG levels in the body, which not only determines pregnancy, but estimates how far along it is. There are conditions in particular that can have normal hCG levels in a woman who isn’t actually pregnant.
One is a blighted ovum, which is pretty complicated to explain. One simple analogy is that “someone built a house but nobody moved in.” Pregnancy hormone levels will cause a positive pregnancy test with this condition. Sometimes, it isn’t even discovered until an ultrasound is done, revealing there is everything needed for a baby to grow, including the womb — except the baby itself is missing.
According to ClearBlue, other conditions that give false positives include cancer and hormonal disorders in menopausal women.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Dr. Rolf just wasn’t working on the serum in the lab. He mentioned that he had other projects. What exactly were these projects? This is a question fans are asking, especially after Dr. Rolf tested her hormone levels prior to arriving at the abortion clinic. He is a smart man — wouldn’t he have tested these levels before?

A clone of Stefano was placed in Kristen during the “fertility treatment”?
I don’t think we will see a Kristen and Brady baby. Either the tests are incorrect or she won’t be able to sustain the pregnancy to term. Kristen has always had that problem. Especially, now that she is older, a late pregnancy is rare for a person that has had trouble conceiving.
