It is teased that Claire will eventually stop crying and try to move on with her life. But this situation will have a lasting impact on her. It’s not the first time she was fooled by someone and she doesn’t understand why she’s so gullible. She believed everything Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) was saying and she was just faking a friendship to get to Belle and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). Now she has been fooled by Charlie who hurt someone she really cares about, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

Head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that Claire will go back to feeling second-best to Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) and that might create some more mental health issues. We have a feeling that Claire will end up being okay, though. She has become good friends with Ben and there is a good chance that he will be the one to keep her relatively stable. She might develop a crush because she always falls in love right away, but that is probably when we are going to see Ciara return, sparking new competition between them.
