Abigail confronts the newest DiMera houseguest about her actions. Gwen already has an excuse lined up and claims that just like Abigail, she is also a victim of Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).

This leads Abigail to confront Gwen about kissing Chad. Of course, Gwen plays the victim and blames it on someone else. She doesn’t want to risk getting kicked out of the DiMera mansion. Not only does she create an excuse for her behavior, but tries to become Abigail’s friend and offers to help with the children. For some reason, we just don’t see Gwen as the nanny type.

Days of Our Lives spoilers from Soap Opera Digest reveal that when Abigail confronts Gwen, the houseguest blames it all on Gabi. She claims that they are all a victim of Gabi’s manipulation and schemes. It sounds like Gwen might be successful in convincing Abigail, especially since she really wasn’t after her husband. She was just trying to make Jake jealous and Chad happened to be standing right there. At least, that is how Gwen plays it off.

DOOL Spoilers – Hidden Motivations

Previously, head writer Ron Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that Gwen has her reasons for wanting to stay close to the DiMera family. He implied that it’s not just about Jake, Gabi or even Chad. He explained that we will find out Gwen’s true motivations in fall 2020. But what could they be?

Could she be working for someone more powerful than we realize? Does she have sinister intentions towards one or more of the family members? Is she somehow connected to Vincent (Michael Teh), and perhaps he was the one who really drugged Abigail? What exactly is Gwen hiding and what is she really after? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap opera to find out.
