Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that when Salem’s new playboy Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) becomes smitten with Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein), mom and dad Johnson will freak. Since Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) attention is taken up with Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) it’ll be Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) who goes Mama Bear on Alex.

Stephanie had to tell her dad to put down his gun when he came home and found the door open and found her; the alarm had gone off.  She hadn’t been home in so long she forgot the code and thought they weren’t activating the alarm anymore. That’s when Steve told her about Orpheus being in town, and she told him why she had come home.

There was more to it than showing family support for the death of her cousin Abigail DiMera, (Marci Miller) she was there for business. The client was top secret and Steve assumed it was Orpheus with another scheme; but Stephanie’s client may turn out to be Alex.

DOOL Spoilers – Not Just A Random Encounter?

It makes sense that if Alex becomes smitten with Stephanie, that he might indeed be the top secret client she’s in town to meet with, rather than a random encounter. Alex had witnessed his brother Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) confused over an email he received from a company that bought another company he tried to buy.

Now that company wanted to sell it to Titan and Sonny smelled a rat, while Alex tried to push him to go for it; Alex might be the one selling. Since Alex seems to be all about secrets, there might be a connection and he might be Stephanie’s business contact, but it’s not his business dealings Kayla worries over. Alex is a lascivious Lothario that might break Stephanie’s heart.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Mama Bear’s Claws Come Out

It’s easy to see why Alex’s player reputation might precede him to that meeting with Stephanie, where he claims it’s love at first sight. But that shouldn’t worry Kayla if Stephanie isn’t smitten with him in return, so it stands to reason that she will be. Stephanie might come from that meeting with stars in her eyes and walking on air, and when Kayla finds out why, and about who, she’ll jump into action.

Kayla’s Mama Bear claws will come out and she might tell Alex to stay away from her daughter, and tell Stephanie to stay away from him. That could prove to be a bit problematic since Stephanie’s a grown woman and she might rebel against her mother’s overprotection.
