Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Alice’s Necklace Mysteriously Reappears, Julie Sells To Save The Hospital?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease Salem University Hospital could get a last-minute miracle save from bankruptcy and dissolution.

Alice Horton’s (Frances Reid) necklace mysteriously reappears, and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) sells it to save the hospital, and it might even get a new name!

Salem University Hospital Is Part Of Julie’s Family’s Legacy

Salem University Hospital is part of Julie’s family legacy as much as the Horton House is-her grandfather, Tom Horton (MacDonald Carey) was a prominent doctor there.

Her uncle Bill Horton (John Martin) was a surgeon there also, and the hospital was very important to the Hortons.

So it’s a sad day for Julie and for the hospital staff as well, when they learn all that was keeping the hospital open was “Body And Soul” being filmed there.

The production is moving to California, and not only are some Salemites losing their jobs with the show, the Salem University hospital staff will as well.

Not only that, there are patients who will need to find new doctors and treatment, because the wolf is at the very door, and they’re not even allowed to recover normally.

Julie’s Sure Grandpa Tom And Uncle Bill Are Rolling In Their Graves Over The Tragedy

Julie’s already sad and trying to cope with the loss of her late husband Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and the theft of her grandma Alice’s necklace-one she didn’t even remember.

Alice had chosen to save it, apparently, for a very special occasion and then the occasion never came-as women often do with fancy china and dresses as well.

The hospital is a Salem institution, and it has been for years-as has been the Horton family themselves and their descendants.

That was the whole reason behind the Horton Town Square being created, in Tom and Alice’s memory, and the hospital is a big part of Salem history as well.

Julie just knows that her grandfather and her uncle, as well as many other family members who passed away over the years must be rolling in their graves!

A Mysterious Reappearance

Julie has also been sad with the thought that her brother Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer) must have stolen Grandma Alice’s necklace-nothing else made any sense.

Then, just as mysteriously as it disappeared, the necklace reappears-with a note, saying “saved for a special occasion”; Julie is floored at the sight, but doesn’t recognize the writing.

But one thing Julie does recognize is that the necklace reappeared for a reason, and she knows exactly the special occasion her grandparents would have wanted it for.

She promptly notifies her family that the necklace has been returned, by whom, or how she doesn’t know, but she believes she knows why.

Everyone is in agreement that Tom and Alice would want it sold to save the hospital, and when it’s appraised, it’s down to the penny-a gift from heaven, so to speak!
