Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and recap for Friday, April 3, 2020, reveals Kristen Dimera (Stacy Haiduk) visits Stefano Dimera/Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) room. Tony Dimera (Thaao Penghlis) tells Kristen that Stefano is having an MRI. Kristen is surprised to find Tony there.

Tony asks why Kristen is there. Kristen says Dr. Rolf (William Utay) is removing Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) chip. Tony asks what happens to Stefano if his chip is removed. Tony doesn’t want to see Stefano dead. Kristen says they want to be free but are pulled to be a dutiful Dimera. Kristen doesn’t want to go back to being the woman she was.

Kristen used to love that people were afraid of her but she’s changed. Kristen wants to make amends for the things she has done. Kristen would like to think she would have been a good mother. Tony tries to comfort Kristen. Kristen tells Tony about the donation to the NICU and wants to volunteer with the babies. Kristen talks about being pulled another baby. Every time Kristen sees that baby she wants to hold her. Tony tells Kristen not to judge herself. Kristen wants to know why she is drawn to that baby. Kristen asks if Tony thinks she is nuts. Tony believes Kristen’s feelings are very natural. Kristen thanks Tony and hugs him.

Days of Our Lives’ Kate Dimera (Lauren Koslow) talks to Stefano’s portrait at the Dimera mansion. Kate talks about everything Stefano has done. Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) walks in with a letter opener. Kate asks Chad what he is doing with that. Kate wants to make sure she is talking to Chad.

Abby assures Kate that this is Chad. Chad says he ditched the ring. Chad asks Kate to forgive him. Kate forgives Chad for his actions. Kate says she is done with Dimera and tells Chad to keep the shares. Abby updates her mother on everything that is happening. Abby hides Stefano’s ring and tries to see if Chad’s trigger word still works. Chad promises he is ok. Chad apologizes to Abby. Chad and Abby begin to kiss. Chad and Abby declare their feelings before making love.

Days of Our Lives’ Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) questions Abe Carver (James Reynolds) about Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) trip. Eric tells Abe he can’t take any more secrets. Eric is scared that Nicole is sick. Eric demands answers from Abe. Abe refuses to help Eric saying this is between him and Nicole. Eric goes to the pub and talks to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor). Eric says he and Nicole promised each other no more lies. Eric thinks Nicole is trying to protect him. Eric says Abe refused to help him and he doesn’t know what to do about this. Roman tells Eric to go straight to Nicole about this.

Days of Our Lives’ Dr. Raynor (Victoria Platt) confirms that Mickey Horton (Josephine and Rosalind May) belongs to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen. Nicole demands to know how the babies were switched. Dr. Raynor talks about Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) accident. The doctor says Sarah’s baby had a seizure and she tried to save her. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) came in. The doctor says she was horrified by what they wanted her to do. Dr. Raynor says she was paid to keep her mouth shut. The doctor couldn’t abandon Sarah. Raynor talks about Xander’s reaction to her.

Raynor says they threatened to kill her. She tells Nicole that Xander could still kill her and asks if Nicole plans to go public. Nicole isn’t sure what she is going to do. The doctor understands and hates that she lied to Sarah. Dr. Raynor thinks she did the baby a favor by keeping Kristen from raising her. Raynor tells Nicole to call the police, it is time for the truth to come out. Nicole tells Raynor she’s not the villain. Nicole won’t tell Xander they spoke. Raynor says whatever Xander does is out of her hands. Nicole says goodbye and leaves. Abe calls and Nicole tells him she as right about the babies. Nicole is torn, she doesn’t know how to tells Eric the baby isn’t his. Nicole says whatever she does, someone she loves is going to get hurt. Nicole arrives home as Eric tries to book a flight.

No amount of wishful thinking will bring his baby back. John says Brady and Kristen will write a few more chapters all by themselves. Tony joins John who tells him the surgery is over.
