Days of Our Lives recap for Friday, August 28 opens with Gwen (Emily O’Brien) is stunned that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) wants to break up with her. Jake wants to find out where this relationship with Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) is going. Gwen tells Jake that Gabi is using him. Gwen says that Gabi is a gold digger. Jake says Gwen is the one who wanted the Dimera money.

Gwen wants to go after Gabi but Jake stops her. Jake tells Gwen she needs to move out because he’s not going to change his mind. Gwen asks where she’s supposed to go. Jake suggests Gwen go back to Philadelphia. Gwen wants to start over with Jake, he doesn’t agree. Jake gives Gwen money to leave. Jake wants Gwen to leave Salem. Jake leaves money and goes to take a shower. Jake wants Gwen to find someone who makes her happy and has a good life. Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) comes to visit Gwen who tells him Jake broke up with her.

DOOL Spoilers – Eduardo Hernandez Gives Gabi Hernandez And Rafe Hernandez Proof

Days of Our Lives Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) tries to convince Gabi that she has to leave Salem. Gabi tells him she has a life there and isn’t going anywhere. Eduardo insists they have to leave town. Eduardo calls their brother and wants him to talk to his brother and sister. Gabi says Eduardo is lying. Eduardo talks to his son who says the men are after him now and knows his location. Gabi finally agrees to leave but she has to make sure her daughter is safe. Chad thought Gwen and Jake broke up over him. Gwen tells Chad she found Jake in bed with Gabi. Chad believes Gwen is overreacting. Gwen asks Chad if she can stay there, he agrees. Gwen hugs Gwen.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gabi Hernandez Leaves Arianna Horton With Will Horton And Sonny Kiriakis

Days Of Our Lives Will Horton (Chandler Massey) calls for an update on John Black (Drake Hogestyn). Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) says that Will can stay in town. Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) walks in and asks if they are really leaving Salem. Sonny and Will explain about the new business. Will tells them that Gabi is dead set against their daughter going. Chad wants them to take Gabi with them. Sonny thinks they can work this out when Gabi calms down. Will ad Sonny talk about Gabi’s determination to keep Gabi in Salem. Gabi and Eduardo show up. Gabi tells them her mother is sick and wants them to keep their daughter. Will and Sonny offer to send the jet after her mother, Eduardo refuses.

Eduardo insists Gabi say goodbye to her daughter right now. Gabi insists on telling Will and Sonny the truth. Gabi tells them the truth. Eduardo says they are going to make it look like they are taking Gabi’s daughter but are entrusting them with her instead. Will and Sonny promise to keep her safe. Will and Sonny confront Eduardo over his actions. Gabi has a teddy bear to take with her. Gabi makes them promise to take care of their daughter. Sonny and Will tell Gabi they love her. Will wants to know as soon as Gabi is safe. Gabi has to say goodbye to Jake. Gabi tells Eduardo that Rafe has to say his goodbyes too. Gabi comes back to say goodbye to Jake. Jake apologizes for Gwen attacking Gabi.

Jake tells Gabi he broke up with Gwen. Jake knows what happened was unexpected. Jake wants to find out where things are headed with them. Gabi tells Jake that her mom is sick and she has to go to Mexico. Jake is sorry, Gabi says this is goodbye. Gabi doesn’t know how long she will be gone. Jake wants to go with Gabi. Gabi tells him he can’t. Gabi tells Jake she was using him. Jake doesn’t believe that. Gabi tells Jake not to wait on her. Gabi tells Jake she was attracted to him because he looks like Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash). Gabi tells Jake to patch things up with Gwen and leaves.

Dool Spoilers – Ben Weston Insists Hope Brady Arrests Him

Days of Our Lives Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) tells Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) that he tried to fight the urge to kill Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal) but he doesn’t know what happened. Hope asks if Ben remembers killing Ciara, he thinks maybe she got away. Ben insists that Hope arrest him to keep Ciara safe. Hope brings Ben to the station where Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is with Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). Ben confronts Eve over brainwashing him. Rafe asks what is going on and gets a quick recap. Eve hopes that Ciara is alive. Rafe asks if she is but no one knows. Rafe asks Eve if she knows where Ciara is. Eve promises that she has no idea. Eli suggests they canvas the area of the dorm room.

Rafe orders everyone to do that. Hope tells Rafe that she has Ciara’s phone. If Ciara is safe she would find a way to get in touch with her. Rafe tells Hope that Ben could never hurt Ciara. Hope asks if Rafe got her message. Rafe tells Hope he got the call but couldn’t pick up. Rafe tells Hope his mother is very sick. Rafe says his father wants him to go to Mexico but he’s not leaving Hope like this.

Hope tells Rafe his place is with his mom. Hope has plenty of support. Rafe says this is about them not just her mom. Rafe tells Hope they were going to give it another shot. Hope says she will be fine. Hope will find Ciara and bring her home. Hope says the three of them will celebrate when he comes home. Hope and Rafe declare their love and kiss before he leaves. Rafe tries to assure Hope that everything will be ok. Hope breaks down as Rafe leaves.
