John rushes to welcome Marlena home. Gina apologizes saying she spilled wine on herself. Marlena wonders how long Hope plans to stay now that she’s home. Hope claims the renovations are taking longer then she expected. Marlena says she needs to leave.

Marlena and John want to reconnect alone. John rejoins Marlena and Hope saying he unpacked for her. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) arrives and returns the hourglass to them. Jack thanks them for the hourglass. Jack leaves and Hope sends her love to Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves). John and Marlena plan to shower together. Gina calls Stefano Dimera’s (formally Joe Mascolo) phone and tells him Marlena is home.

Will tells Kate that Sonny doesn’t visit anymore. Kate asks why Sonny isn’t visiting. Will tells Kate it wasn’t Sonny’s choice. Will told Sonny he didn’t want him to visit anymore.

Will doesn’t believe that Ben is innocent but knows he killed Adrienne. Kate tries to get Will to reach out to Sonny. Will says the family might forgive him but he can’t forgive himself.

Evan and Sonny discuss his life as a nanny. Evan came to Salem because he wanted a quiet, simple life.

Evan asks how Sonny is doing with things now. Sonny is angry at Will for taking his mother from him. Evan asks if Sonny has talked to anyone professionally. Sonny has tried to work it out but Will destroyed their lives. Sonny thanks Evan for dinner and for listening to him. Evan tells Sonny he will see him around Sonny will call Evan about babysitting Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower). Evan and Sonny agree to watch football some night.

Justin and Kayla discuss their dinner. Kayla says what happened to Adrienne Kiriakis (Judy Evans) was devastating. Kayla talks about the day she had to tell Justin that Adrienne had died. Justin doesn’t think he could have gotten through without Kayla.

Kayla thinks Adrienne would have wanted her there. Justin will never be able to repay Kayla. Kayla believes he can, Justin was there for her. Kayla says they tried to fight this. Justin says they were dating without even knowing it. Things changed the day Justin helped Kayla move. Kayla received her final divorce papers that day. Kayla was upset and leaned on Justin. A hug turned into a kiss and progressed from there. Justin is happy again all because of Kayla. Kayla brings in cake, she and Justin share it. Justin says if people don’t like them together he doesn’t give a damn.

Days of Our Lives Chad Dimera (Billy Flynn) is waiting to hear from Stefano Dimera (formerly Joe Mascolo). Stefano says hi to Abigail Dimera (Kate Mansi). Abby messages Stefano back saying she and Chad make decisions together. Abby and Chad argue over her message to Stefano. Jack interrupts to show Abby pictures. Jack is afraid the Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) will fall back into the coma.

Jack says there is a lot that Jennifer doesn’t know. Jack and Abby talk about the changes the Jennifer has to face. Abby is working on a story now, Jack wants details. Chad interrupts because Abby can give Jack details on the story. Abby knows this is going to be a big story. Chad doesn’t want to push because Stefano will disappear again. Chad wants to try again. Abby promises to delete what she wrote. Abby asks Chad to help her message Stefano together. Abby asks to meet with Stefano face to face. Abby says she’s always on Chad’s side. Abby leaves the computer with Chad and starts to go upstairs when he gets a message.
