Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, September 30, 2019, reveals Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) are waiting to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to be prepped for surgery.

Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) arrives to tell them there is no heart available. Kayla tells Hope and Doug about Kate Dimera’s (Lauren Koslow) recovery. Kayla apologizes to Doug. Kayla is bringing Julie back to her room to make her comfortable. Doug wonders how to break the news to Julie. Julie wakes up and asks if the surgery is over. Doug tells Julie she didn’t have the surgery. Doug says they will find another heart. Julie tells Doug she doesn’t have much time left.

Days of Our Lives Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is visiting with Kate Dimera. Kate tells Lucas she was going to work and Vivian shot her. Lucas looks nervous and Kate wonders why. Lucas starts to explain to Kate what happened. Lucas explains they were taking Kate for a heart transplant. Lucas explains to Kate that she wasn’t expected to come out of the coma.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton Tells Kate Roberts About Transplant

Lucas tells Kate he was going to donate her organs. Kate screams at Lucas from the shock. Lucas explains why he made that decision. Lucas asks Kate to forgive him for his decision. Kate is transferring the health proxy to Austin Reed (Austin Peck). Kate tells Lucas this isn’t his fault, she blames Kayla. Lucas tells Kate she cannot blame Kayla. Kate threatens to sue Kayla and the hospital. Lucas tries to calm Kate down. Lucas wants Kate to concentrate on Vivian Alamain (Robin Strasser). Kate says Vivian better be in jail by now.

Days of Our Lives Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves) discuss their past. Jennifer had started to lose hope of getting Jack back. Jack apologizes for how he treated Jennifer. Jennifer tells Jack it is fine. J.J. Deveraux (Casey Moss) arrives and hugs Jennifer. J.J. asks Jack about killing Dr. Shah (Piter Marek). Jack explains that Shah called him to come to Ted Laurant’s (Gilles Marini) old apartment. Jack being up a fall he got years ago.

Jack tells J.J. that he remembers everything including his son. J.J. wants to call Abby Dimera (Kate Mansi) but it’s nighttime in Paris. Jack tells J.J. he didn’t need the serum, Jennifer brought him back. Jack remembers what a sweet little boy J.J. was. Jack apologizes for how he treated J.J. and Haley Chen (Thia Megia). Jack vows to make up for hurting his family. The three share a family hug. Jennifer and J.J. make it to Julie’s room to see her. Julie tells Jennifer she is in God’s hands now.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Everyone Thrilled Jack Deveraux’s Memory Is Back

Jennifer says they aren’t going to let this keep them down. Jack talks to Kayla who blames herself for Jennifer’s kidnapping. Jack tells Kayla he remembers everything. Everyone is thrilled that Jack has his memory back. J.J. tells Julie everything will be right once she is better.

Jack wishes some memories could be forgotten. Jack doesn’t understand Kayla’s capacity to forgive. Jack needs some air and leaves. Jennifer goes to find Jack. J.J. tells Kayla he is worried about Jack. Kayla says Jack will be fine. Jennifer finds Jack in the park and they hold hands.

Jack says the memories are a double-edged sword. Jennifer tells Jack he changed from his past and became a better man. Jennifer is the best thing that ever happened to Jack. Jennifer is glad Jack remembers that.

Days of Our Lives Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash) and Gabi Dimera (Camilla Banus) pick a destination for a trip. Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) arrives to speak to them about Vivian. Rafe wants to see Vivian. Gabi sends Rafe upstairs. Vivian realizes that Kate is awake and plans to get away before she can be arrested. Rafe goes to Vivian’s room searching for her.

Stefan thinks Gabi gave Vivian up but she’s standing behind him. Vivian asks Stefan what they are going to do about Kate. Gabi tries to hid Vivian who doesn’t want to go into the tunnels. Rafe comes back downstairs and asks where Vivian is. Gabi covers for Vivian. Rafe begins to search the house starting with the tunnels.
