NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and recap for Thursday, June 18, 2020, reveals Gabi Dimera (Camila Banus) asks if she’s going to be released when the exchange is made. Another henchman arrives and tells him that’s not Gwen (Emily O’Brien).

Days of Our Lives Spoilers And Recap: Another Henchman Waits For Jake

Gabi tries to convince her captors that Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) is Stefan Dimera (Brandon Barash). Gabi tells them Stefan will kill them and their boss. The captors threaten to kill Stefan. Gabi tries to backtrack and get the men off Jake’s back. A call comes in that Jake has arrived with company. Gabi knew Jake wouldn’t abandon her. Jake and Ben arrive with the book. Jake and the captor argue back and forth.

Gabi is released but held at knifepoint. The second captor says this is the wrong book. Jake admits that it isn’t the real book. Lani and Eli arrive and Lani shoots one capture. Lani convinces Gabi to duck and shoots the second one before getting sick. Jake and Ben hold Gabi against them. Gabi thanks Jake for coming to her rescue. Gabi blames Jake for getting her into this mess. Ben tells Jake that Gwen is in town.

DOOL Recap & Spoilers: Gwen Gives John The Book

Days of Our Lives Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) introduces John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to Gwen. Marlena tells Gwen that a lot of people are looking for her. Gwen tells John she doesn’t want to be found. Gwen shows Marlena the book. Marlena calls Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) to tell her they have the book. John explains to Gwen the connection between Jake and Gabi. John says Gabi was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Claire gets an attitude with Marlena who threatens to send her home.

Gwen begs Marlena not to blame Claire. Gwen admits to waiting to sell the book to the highest bidder. Marlena asks Claire if Gwen’s story is true. John and Marlena insist that Claire must be honest from now one. Ciara arrives and recognizes Gwen. Gwen asks who’s bad idea the book switch was. John asks Ciara if they have an address. John wants to run the book over there. John tells Gwen to give him the book. Caira leaves to meet with Ben. Gwen tells her this isn’t over.

Days Of Our Lives Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) wait for Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) to come out of the mansion. Eli knows Ciara and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) are watching Jake write in the book. Ciara is determined to go with Ben and Jake. Ben doesn’t want Ciara to get hurt. Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) grabs the book out of Ciara’s hand. Caira argues with Xander over the book.

Jake and Ben chase after him. Ciara misses Marlena’s call as they wrestle the book from Xander. Ben tries to reassure Ciara so she will stay behind. Lani is still sick to her stomach. Lani and Eli discuss Xander’s comments about the book being a matter of life and death. Ben and Jake leave, Ciara waits. Lani and Eli follow. Ben calls Ciara and tells her everyone is fine.
