Days of Our Lives Spoilers And Recap Wednesday, July 8 – Kayla Goes After Steve; Justin Is Stunned At Adrienne’s Grave

NBC Days of Our Lives spoilers and recap for Wednesday, July 8, 2020, reveals Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) stopped his and Kayla Brady’s (Mary Beth Evans) wedding ceremony. Justin has something he needs to say. Kayla looks stunned. Justin tells Kayla that Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) still loves her and wants her back. Kayla says Steve has made it clear that he thinks Kayla is better off with him. Justin makes Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) admit to how Steve feels.

Justin tells Kayla the day that he proposed, Steve came to tell her he wanted her back. Kayla is furious that Jennifer has kept quiet about this. Jack confirms that Steve confided in him. Justin just found out and didn’t know what to do. Kayla asks Justin if he knows what he is asking her to process here. Kayla is furious that everyone knew but her. Justin says this is how Steve wanted it.

Justin tells Kayla he would still be married to Adrienne Kiriakis (Judy Evans) if she hadn’t died. Justin calls off the wedding and Kayla prepares to leave after taking off her engagement ring.

Days of Our Lives Steve tells John Black (Drake Hogestyn) that he wants the case that is out of town. Steve doesn’t want to watch Justin and Kayla happy together. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) asks Steve about his children. Steve believes the ceremony is over. John and Marlena believe Justin will tell Kayla the truth. John accuses Steve of running away. Steve has a ticket to D.C.

John says if Steve gets on that flight he will never see him again. John asks if Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) was ok with this, she isn’t. Everyone hugs Steve goodbye. Hope and Steve leave together. John makes sure everything is set up for Steve. John doesn’t want Steve to leave again. John believes Steve should stay and see what happens. John says Justin is a good guy but couldn’t love Kayla as much as Steve.

Days Of Our Lives Sonny Kiriakis (Freddy Smith) leaves to find his dad. Kayla blames Steve for everyone staying quiet. Jack tells Kayla that Jennifer stayed quiet because of him. Jennifer says Steve should have been honest. Jack says Steve sacrificed his happiness for her. Sonny helps Justin to pack his stuff up at Kayla’s apartment. Justin talks about the Jazz festival. Justin loved listening to jazz music and cooking dinner. Sonny was proud of Justin today.

Sonny thinks Justin should have been quiet about Steve. Justin didn’t want to feel like he was conning Kayla. Justin finds Steve and Kayla’s wedding photo. Sonny says Justin didn’t need to see that. Sonny says Justin’s decision was noble. Justin sends his stuff home with Sonny so he can be alone for a while. Justin breaks down and cries before leaving. Justin goes by the cemetery and talks to Adrienne. Justin is approached by someone who looks like Adrienne, is it her or Bonnie Lockheart (Judy Evans).

Steve Leaves For The Airport – Soap Opera Spoilers

Days of Our Lives Steve and Hope pack his stuff up at her house. Steve tells Hope its also time that she get on with her life. Hope is concentrating on being the mother of the bride. Steve hugs Hope goodbye and prepares to leave. Kayla arrives at Hope’s and frantically wants to speak to Steve. Hope tells Kayla that Steve has gone to the airport. Hope tells Kayla that Steve took a job for the ISA.

Hope tries to call Steve but he’s on the phone leaving Jack a message. Steve ignores Hope’s call and moves to board his flight. Hope leaves Steve a message. Steve gets his ticket and the agent tells him to hurry. Steve says most of the people he loves are in Salem. The guy asks why Steve is leaving, he says sometimes you don’t have a choice. Steve goes to the gate to board the plane. Kayla arrives but the agent won’t let her board the flight without a ticket. Kayla buys a ticket but it told it is too late. Kayla says no and collapses in a chair. Steve walks out of the gateway and looks at Kayla.
