Abe Carver (James Reynolds) arrives and Eli explains how Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is going to prosecute her. Eli tells Abe that Trask told him she would immediately arrest Lani. Eli explains how there is footage of Lani helping Kristen escape.

Next on today’s DOOL recap, Eli tells Abe that Kristen had no idea that he was recording her. Abe asks if Eli gave the recording to Trask. Eli tells Abe about his visit to Kristen. Abe is furious with Melinda for doing this. Abe is sorry it has come to this. Abe promises he won’t tell anyone what Eli did. Lani sees Abe and Eli hugging and wonders why.

Brady tells Kristen she’s not doing this. Kristen hopes for a reduced sentence Kristen’s mind is made up. Belle walks in and demands an explanation.

Philip explains that he wasn’t literally going to kill someone. Belle tells Philip that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) is determined to make him pay. Philip blames Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) for arresting him.

Belle tells Philip that he put himself in this situation. Belle tells Philip he should find another lawyer. Philip persuades Belle not to drop him as a client. Belle has to leave to get to Kristen’s trial. Philip pushes Belle until she agrees to represent him. Philip can’t launder money with Xander looking over his shoulder.

Days of Our Lives Hope and Shawn. Hope reads the report and a shell casing was found at the scene. Hope tries to hold onto hope that Ciara is alive. Hope says they need to go over all the evidence. Hope says there is a one in a million chance the Ciara escaped. Hope says they need to call Ben. Hope can’t tell Ben on the phone and wants to go see him.

Shawn goes and tells Ben what the report said. Shawn promises Hope that he will be back. Ben says they don’t know that Ciara is gone. Ben wants to be alone. Shawn says they will get through this together. Shawn and Claire leave. Ben paces the floor and looks at Ciara’s rings. Ben leaves the room with his backpack. Hope lays on the floor looking at Ciara’s photo and sobs. Ben takes out Vincent’s gun and holds it in his hand.
