Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Anna Wants To Get Back At Tony For Marrying “Nicole”

Poor Anna carried what she thought was Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) in cremation form for years in a cocktail shaker in her purse, and now that she finds out that wasn’t him that was in her purse – since obviously even the genius of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (William Utay) could have resurrected ashes! – and here he comes to Salem and marries Nicole Walker (Adrienne Zucker)! Of course the marriage is a sham, and “Nicole” is really his sister Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in disguise.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Anna And Roman Have A History

Anna and Roman go back for years, in fact they were each other’s first spouse, from sometime in the 1970s till 1982, and he has had a soft spot for Anna ever since. He even gave her a false alibi for Andre DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) murder in 2018, although later the charges were dropped anyway.

That’s saying something for a former cop! Anna knows that she can get Roman to help her make Tony jealous to try and get him back! Anna is not happy with Tony at all when she finds out about the “marriage”; in fact, in the Days of Our Lives weekly preview for the week of August 12th. 2019 she hauls off and slaps Tony so hard she nearly knocks him off balance, and that outdoors in public for all of Salem and God to see!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: But WHEN Does Anna Make The Announcement?

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Anna will pull Roman in on her plan the day after she makes the big announcement, or at least the episode after since the sand in that hourglass tends to move really slow! It can take a couple of weeks for one Days day to play out!

It sounds like she makes this engagement announcement at least to Tony, and possibly to others, before she even lets Roman in on the plan! She came by to see Roman first thing that she arrived in Salem, but just as she walked in the pub she sees him comforting a sobbing Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) after their son Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) was moving back to Chicago and had quit his job at Salem University Hospital already.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Maybe Roman Tells Anna About Tony And That He Has Married Nicole!

Roman will be in an awkward position having just learned from Rex that Nicole had married Tony, who is alive and living in Salem at the Salem Inn, and seeing Anna walk in. It may be Roman who breaks the news about Tony, and about Tony and fakeNicole to Anna, not wanting her to find out the hard way.

Chances are, since in the weekly promo video she’s dressed in the same black and white polka dot top when she decks Tony as when she walked into Brady’s to check in with Roman, he will warn her about Tony and fakeNicole and she’ll march right over to the Salem Inn to duke it out, and indeed it does look like he runs straight into Anna as he’s coming out of the Inn!
