Carmine (Richard Stevens) arrived to handle Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash). However, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) dies before being resuscitated, which means clean-up and damage control.

Shortly after that, Ava gave Philip a piece of valuable information and now the two have created a partnership. Ava told Philip about Jake and Carmine (Richard Stevens) killing a Philly bar owner, which had Gabi being forced to choose between Jake and Gabi Chic.

DOOL Spoilers – Not Giving In

Gabe refused to make the deal with Philip. So, this led to Philip and Ava taking the next step in their plan. Carmine doesn’t just magically appear in Salem after all these years. Someone must have told him Jake’s new hometown, which was probably Ava. When Carmine arrives, he pinpoints Jake and starts shooting. Jake isn’t the one that ends up flatlining, though. Instead, it is Mayor Abe Carver.

Days of Our Lives spoilers  – Abe Carver’s Near-Death Experience

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of October 25 reveal that Abe will be transported to the emergency room. At some point during Abe’s hospitalization, he takes a turn for the worse. Abe’s heart stops beating and the monitors flatline. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) desperately tries to bring Abe back to life.

While Abe goes into the light, his loved ones will bring up the mayor’s most memorable moments during his 40 years in the NBC soap.

DOOL Spoilers – Clean-Up and Damage Control

It is assumed that Ava called Carmine and told him to either kill Jake or frame him. Even though Ava has killed before, it’s not her first choice in how to handle things. Ava doesn’t want police focusing on her and murder would just have the spotlights in her face. It’s more likely that Ava and Carmine made a deal that didn’t involve murder.

One theory is that Carmine was going to intimidate Jake into confessing to the Philly bar murder. Another speculation is that Carmine was just supposed to rough up Jake a bit. Now things have gone too far, which means Ava will need to clean up and do damage control. That could be anything from shipping Carmine far away, forcing him to confess to the Salem police or even killing him. What do you think Ava does when Carmine goes overboard once again?
