In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati discussed Ava’s return. While Ava has always been a villain and created trouble for Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Dr. Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans), her character will go in a different direction when she returns.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sympathetic Story Hinted

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that probably the only time in the past where Ava got some sympathy was when she gave birth to Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams). She was forced by her mobster father to give him up and believed that the boy had been sold and/or trafficked. That set Steve on a search to find his son, which he did.

However, it seems that we might get more details about what set Ava on the path of becoming a villain. We might also feel some sympathy for the character.

“Tamara Braun is coming back and that’s important, not only for Steve and Kayla, but for her son, Tripp, and others to be determined. And this time, we’re not just going to be seeing ‘Evil Ava.’ There will be more colors there, and she will be more sympathetic than what we’ve played before.”

DOOL Spoilers – What Else Is Known

With Ava turning up alive this fall, that must mean that Joey will be released from prison. The only reason why he is there is that he confessed to killing Ava. Now, Joey has been in prison for a long time, so don’t expect him to be the same kid that went in there.

Plus, with everything that has happened because of Ava, for her to get any kind of redemption will be a hard sell. We will just have to keep watching to see what the writers have planned for the character.
