DOOL Spoilers: Jordan Ridgeway’s Death

After Jordan was found murdered, authorities didn’t bother doing much of an investigation. Ben’s serial killer history and Jordan’s repeated attempts to kill Ciara made the young man look guilty. He wasn’t a prime suspect — he was the only suspect. These factors,along with the crime scene location and how the physical therapist was strangled only strengthened the case against Ben.

Robert Scott Wilson told SoapHub that Ben is really trying to wrap his head around the entire situation.

“His whole world is altered… He’s questioning himself. His life could be over. His love [affair with Ciara] could be over.”

At one point, Ben was so concerned about Ciara’s safety that he considered having his own sister killed. He asked Victor to take care of Jordan, then changed his mind. It seems that Ciara’s grandfather may have given the green light to his hitman anyway.

Victor is the only person that wanted to eliminate both of the siblings from Salem. Killing Jordan and framing Ben would be an easy way to kill two birds with one stone. However, proving it is a whole different ball game.

DOOL Spoilers: Anchor of ‘Cin’

Meanwhile, Ciara is working behind the scenes to clear Ben’s name, Victoria Konefal explained. With Ciara’s high-powered executive position at Titan, it has given her power and independence. These attributes will help her prove Ben’s innocence, but it is also letting her be the anchor in the relationship for a change.

“Up until now, Ciara’s always been the damsel in distress. It’s about time she grows her wings and figures it out. It’s very consistent with Ciara being a woman instead of a girl, now. I love that.”

The DOOL actors confirmed that “Cin” still love each other ;and those feelings are not going away. Konefal believes that their current predicament will only strengthen their bond and prove to the world that nothing can tear them apart.
