Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal Bryan Dattilo’s (Lucas Horton) daughter Delila Dattilo has been filming at General Hospital! It looks like his daughter is following in his soapy footsteps, although he’s never migrated to GH himself like many of his castmates over the years!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Bryan Dattilo Has Appeared In Port Charles!

Delila Dattilo, the 10-year-old daughter of Bryan and his wife, Elizabeth Cameron, is set to make her debut on an upcoming episode of General Hospital.

Her excited father shared the news on Instagram, saying, “A Dattilo was spotted in Port Charles; finally a real soap star in the family; #GH #DOOL.”

Soap Opera Digest has confirmed with a representative from GH that Delila will be featured in scenes taking place in Rice Plaza, a lively location during the holiday season on the show.

Although details about her character remain under wraps, or whether she’s there for an arc or just for a scene, GH viewers should see her in a few weeks.

Unlike Days of Our Lives, which currently is up to a nine month period from filming to airing, General Hospital is usually a month to six weeks.

In a 2022 interview with SOD, Dattilo expressed his excitement about his daughter following in his acting footsteps. “My daughter, the next soap star,” he quipped, sharing his hopes that she might one day appear on DAYS; “I’d love to see that happen,” he added.

The actor mentioned a recent Instagram post featuring his daughter alongside the SOD cover, where they playfully added glasses to her and captioned it, “Future soap star gets the summer scoop.” Dattilo even took on the role of an amateur casting director, and made a suggestion.

“She’d be a fantastic Arianna Horton (Lane Rosa),” referring to the character who is Lucas’s on-screen granddaughter, the daughter of Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jiminez).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Delila Has Already Started Building Acting Credits

Delila is already building her acting resume-Dattilo mentioned, “She’s done a lot of acting already, she’s been in four or five commercials, and earned more money than I did at her age. When I was 18, I didn’t make that much;” the experienced soap star said he is always ready to support his daughter-“We practice lines all the time.

She has more auditions than I do-I’ve even auditioned with her for father/daughter roles; they always want her, never me,” he joked, however, the actor noted that Delila doesn’t require much help.

He said, “She memorizes really well, she’s fantastic with dialogue; it’s impressive,  and it’s not just dialogue; it’s songs, TV shows…she remembers everything. Plus, she really enjoys acting, she doesn’t mind being on set all day, which is a big part of the challenge for kids.”

Datillo elaborated, “Delila’s journey into the entertainment industry was actually sparked by her mother; Liz has been involved in background work for many years,” he shared. “She initially aimed to get Delila into similar background roles, and that’s where it all began-from there, Delila transitioned to principal roles and commercials.

She’s currently juggling about two auditions each week, which is quite a bit, and she genuinely enjoys it-she’s passionate about it. Plus, she has an agent; she’s got everything she needs.” Delila’s father predicted, “She’s destined to surpass my success; her career is going to be monumental.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Dattilo Did Another SOD Interview About Delila In 2023

In a 2023 interview with Digest, Dattilo revealed how Delila’s passion for acting blossomed during the production strikes that year. “Since she couldn’t land any roles during the strike, she dove into theater, which she absolutely adores,” Dattilo explained. “She participated in Seussical: The Musical and Bye Bye Birdie; musical theater has captured her heart, and she thrives in rehearsals.

She never seems to tire of it; she sings, dances, and knows all the routines, I’m not pushing her in any way. I would never impose acting on my daughter or even wish for her to pursue it, honestly-but her love for it is undeniable, she has a true passion for the craft.”
