Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Chad Tells Abigail That He’s Been In Contact With Stefano

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have some surprising news for Abby DiMera (Kate Mansi). As DOOL viewers know, Chad and Abby are back Salem, and they’ve been back for the duration of the time jump year. They came home when Abby’s mother Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) fell into a coma after being pushed over the balcony at the bistro in Horton town square.

Well, it seems that Chad and Abby are back in the DiMera mansion and Chad is once again working for DiMera Enterprises, while Abby is working as a reporter for her father Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) at the Salem Spectator. It seems that Chad and Abby will be happy along with their kids and things will be looking up now that Jennifer is out of her coma.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Chad DiMera Has Been In Contact With His Father

But soon, Chad and Abby will face some discord. According to DOOL spoilers, Chad will make a big confession to Abby when he tells her that he’s been in contact with Stefano DiMera (last played by Joseph Mascolo). He’ll tell Abby that he’s communicated with someone, and he’s sure that the person is his father. That will really throw Abby for a loop, since Stefano was presumed dead back in 2016 when he was shot by Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso).

But it seems that Stefano may be very much alive. DOOL viewers will remember that Stefano allegedly made an appearance on the Salem scene in 2017, but it turned out that the person was actually Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) in disguise. However, later, Shane discovered evidence indicating that Stefano had been spotted, leaving the question of whether he was alive completely open.

DOOL Spoilers – Could Stefano DiMera Be Recast?

Well, new spoilers, courtesy of the DOOL winter promo, strongly suggest that Stefano is indeed alive. In the promo a man’s hand is shown holding a cigar over a chessboard, while Princess Gina Von Amberg (Kristian Alfonso) talks to the man, whom she calls “Steffy.” This is exciting news for DOOL viewers, although if Stefano’s face is ever shown on screen, this will necessarily mean that the role has been recast, since Joseph Mascolo passed away.

At any rate, we’ll see if the person who Chad has been in contact with is the same person that Princess Gina was shown talking to in the DOOL winter promo. It’s an exciting prospect for viewers that Stefano may be alive and reunited with his children. Do you think we’ll see a Stefano recast on the show?
