Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Vigilante Justice

Chad is out for vigilante justice after Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) confirmed his killer theory; he ran into Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) in Horton Town Square and he smelled like vanilla. Sonny had partial memories come back to him of the night he was stabbed, and he had smelled vanilla, and Chad is sure he’s right. Chad had a difficult time convincing Salem Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to go after Craig and bring him in for questioning.

Chad finally convinced Rafe, but the wheels of justice aren’t spinning fast enough for him. He goes out hunting the monster down himself to make sure he gets the death penalty, and he’ll administer it.

DOOL Spoilers – Consumed By Rage And Grief

Chad is absolutely consumed by rage and grief over the cold-blooded murder of his wife, and now that he is sure who did he goes after him. Sonny said he smelled vanilla and Craig smelled like vanilla and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) accused Craig of framing him, and that’s all Chad needs. He goes to his safe and pulls out a gun he’s bought for the express purpose of killing Abigail’s murderer, loads and cocks it to make sure it’s ready to shoot. They were near the Sweet Bits Bakery and there is a possibility he smelled vanilla in the breeze from the bakery and not actually Craig. That doesn’t matter to Chad, he’s intent on taking out his latest person of interest; albeit Craig is number four or five of those, Chad has wanted avenge Abigail.

DOOL Spoilers – What If He Kills Him?

At this point, Chad is so obsessed with vengeance that he doesn’t even care if he kills Craig and he’s the wrong man, or if he kills the right man either. He’s got such a case of bloodlust he doesn’t realize that his children will be left orphans if he’s arrested and gets the death penalty. Chad thinks that the only thing that will make him feel better is by killing whoever he thinks killed Abigail, right or wrong.

He will need to be rescued from himself at this point and stopped from making a fatal mistake; one that could be fatal for himself in the long run. Soon, however, he will know for sure who killed her, because her ghost will come to him and tell him he’s right.
