Her mother, Paulina Price Carver (Jackée Harry) is trying to protect her but the word’s spreading around Salem that Chanel’s a murderer, and in a most public and embarrassing way.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Blackmail

Paulina’s being blackmailed by an ambulance chaser, as Abe Carver (James Reynolds) called her, Sloan Peterson (Jessica Serfaty). She came to Paulina’s office with a file full of incriminating information on a murder Chanel supposedly committed and Paulina and she had covered up. This incident supposedly happened years ago when Chanel was still a minor and it should have never been able to be dredged up.

However, Sloan reminded Paulina that there is no statute of limitations on murder, and this would be considered a murder in a court of law. There apparently exists no evidence that the killing was in self-defense and there is nothing that can be done.

DOOL Spoilers – Can It Even Be Believed?

There’s a question in Paulina’s mind as to if this so-called “evidence” Sloan dug up can even be believed. She has called for investigation into the allegations to see what they might be dealing with. However, there has been a secret that Paulina and Chanel have kept about a certain incident, and it looks like someone has unearthed it. So Paulina calls her daughter into her office to talk about the past, and specifically, the past incident they’ve kept secret that someone died as a result of. Paulina still doesn’t know who told who what and how it got out, but now they’ve got a scandal on their hands and possibly another court case nightmare.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Murderer

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Chanel is blindsided by the file and what it contains, and Paulina assures her she will do her best to handle it; knowing Chanel would never intentionally cause a death. If this is someone looking to force her from her gubernatorial run she’ll drop out of the race, she’ll do anything for her daughters, as proven by her past actions. Chanel never meant to cause this death, and in truth, it was accidental; the only problem is trying to prove it, especially after this many years.

Chanel was a young teenager when this incident happened and it should never have been able to be unearthed; juvenile records are supposed to be sealed, so what happened? What’s even worse is what Chanel sees in Horton Town Square when she goes to work at her bakery; someone has spray painted the word “murderer” all over the building.
