She has felt like that since they were kids and it triggered her psychotic break. Even though she’s mentally stable now, Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) will leave lasting damage.

DOOL spoilers reveal that even though Ciara (Victoria Konefal) is Claire’s (Isabel Durant) aunt, they are about the same age. So, they grew up together and became best friends. Even though they were bonded, the two were extremely competitive. That continued throughout their lives until it nearly led to a shocking tragedy.

Claire ended up having to be admitted to Bayview for intensive psychiatric care. She did get a lot better and the Claire we see today is not the same one from a few years ago. She is mentally stable now. She even worried that dating Charlie (Mike C. Manning) would send her back down the path of instability. So, her mental health is always on her mind. However, all it really takes is one trauma to send someone spiraling back down.

Days Of Our Lives Spoiler – Charlie Dale Causes Lasting Damage

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Claire will soon find out that she was fooled once again by someone she got close to. There have been several of them, but since her release from Bayview, we are concentrating on Charlie and Jan Spears (Heather Lindell). It’s one whammy right after another. Head writer Ron Carlivati spoke to Soap Opera Digest about what happens with Charlie and Claire as we head into 2021. He said,

“It’s really sort of tragic for Claire because she always feels second-best to Ciara, and now she feels like, ‘Okay, I finally met somebody. I come first with this person’ and we know she will soon find out that he’s not such a great catch after all…”

DOOL Spoilers – Mental Health Relapse?

It actually sounds like Claire is starting to have her insecurity and jealousy issues again. Even though Ciara is dead, Claire will always feel the need to be just as good as her. To make the right decisions like Ciara did. To feel insecure can be devastating, but to have the constant reminder that a dead girl will always do better than you? That is going to be a lot for Claire.

We don’t think she will try to make Salem-kabobs out of the town residents again, but we do worry she’ll spiral into a depression. She has helped Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) since his wife’s death, perhaps now it’s time for him to help her. Of course, we are talking about friendship and not romance, but you know how soaps write these stories. Love will eventually come for Claire and Ben, then Ciara will turn up alive. We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see what happens with the characters.
