When Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) told John where the two women were, he got there just in time to save Julie.

DOOL Spoilers – John Black’s Prison

After Julie left the church, John and “MarDevil” had a confrontation. However, John was unprepared and the devil knocked him out cold. Unable to kill him because of Marlena’s love, the devil dragged John to the DiMera crypt to hold him hostage.

Marlena plans on tormenting and corrupting John. However, people keep interrupting the devil. When Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) arrived at the crypt, he was surprised to find the door locked. Then, he was even more shocked to see Marlena’s costume for Halloween. If Johnny hadn’t shown up when he did, who knows what the devil would have done to John. He might still be shacked in the crypt, but at least he is still alive.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers  – Steve Johnson’s Search

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Marlena is explaining John’s absence. Belle Brady (Martha Madison) might believe John is out of the country on a top-secret case. However, Steve knows that it’s not true. Steve and John run Black Patch together and knows for a fact that there isn’t any case that would take John out of Salem. With Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) help, Steve will begin asking questions and searching for John.

DOOLSpoilers – Devil’s Clue

Steve will retrace John’s steps and could talk to Julie. When she explains that John came to the church, Steve will realize that is the last place John was seen and Marlena was with him. When Steve goes to the church, he could find a clue.

Fans may recall that Marlena turned the wall crosses in the church upside down. Then, she got busy dragging John to the crypt and after that, was interrupted by Johnny. Unless the crosses were put upright off-screen, that might be the clue that Steve discovers. It might not lead him to John, but he’s so close.

What that clue will do is prove that Marlena is literally not herself. Now, what will Steve do about his discovery? If he confronts Marlena, could he be in danger? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
