DOOL spoilers reveal that Sami did everything she could to hide her affair with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). However, the truth always comes out eventually in soaps. That is exactly what happened with Sami’s secret. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) got his hands on Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) letter and gave it to Nicole. As payback for Sami blowing up Nicole’s anniversary celebration, the letter was then hand-delivered to EJ.

Once EJ learned of Sami’s affair, he kicked her to the curb. Some fans even believe EJ is responsible for Sami’s kidnapping, but that hasn’t been confirmed yet.

As for Nicole, she is going through a divorce now that Eric knows that he was betrayed. Nicole has admitted that she has feelings for Rafe. However, he insisted that it was just Nicole missing her husband. By the time “Ericole” ended, Rafe was already in a relationship with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). The former villain tried to break up with Rafe, but he still denies having feelings for Nicole. Meanwhile, Nicole is keeping her distance in order to give Rafe and Ava’s romance a chance.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 27 reveal that EJ asks Nicole out to dinner. The two were involved many years ago, so they aren’t strangers. At the same time, it has been so long since they’ve been romantically linked that both of them have changed a lot. It is teased that Nicole might say yes to the date.

DOOL Spoilers – Romance Or Distraction?

The fall preview was teased to Soap Opera Digest by executive producer Ken Corday. At the time of the interview, the show boss told the publication,

“This is a strong foursome (Ava, Rafe, Nicole and EJ). Nicole realizes she’s interfering in Rafe and Ava’s relationship, so she turns her attention to EJ, who is more than willing to help her forget all about Rafe. EJ and Nicole have a rich history and it’s worth exploring.”

Even though Nicole turns to EJ to help her forget Rafe, will the romance last long? Nicole might not be the only one trying to forget, though. EJ might not really be as done with Sami as he claims.
