Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ & Stefan DiMera Decide To Band Together, Calling A Truce

Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint at some unique alliances on the horizon. Brothers EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel) and Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) have been at each other’s throats and scheming against each other for weeks now.

But with new information that will come to light the week of July 17th, could the DiMera siblings find common ground? Actor Brandon Barash sits down with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to chat about this character’s family dynamics.

DOOL Spoilers: Stefan DiMera Learns Why His Brother Was Held Hostage

DOOL spoilers for the week of July 17th reveal that EJ will tell Stefan what their crazy sister Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson) was up to. Stefan will learn that EJ found out about Megan’s plan to kill him, and he was locked in the DiMera tunnels for trying to stop her.

Barash tells SOD that the dynamics within the DiMera family is like playing chess; however, Stefan will be touched that, despite their differences, EJ did hold some sort of sibling loyalty to him. EJ will then propose a truce.

After all, Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) is still in Salem, and he may be doing his mother’s bidding while she’s in hiding. Stefan agrees with what his brother is saying, but he’ll still be skeptical about how much he can trust him.

Days Spoilers: Wait? Dimitri Now Has An Ally In Kristen?

Brandon explains to SOD that EJ is proposing this ‘truce’, in order to get rid of Dimitri, the “real threat”. Still, in the back of Stefan’s mind, there will be some concern about whether or not he can trust his brother. This isn’t the first time these two have tried to find common ground and failed.

So, they both agree to try and kick Von Leuschner out of the mansion, until Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) interjects. Both EJ and Stefan will be puzzled as to why Kristen is “sticking up” for her nephew since she doesn’t know him half as well as them, but fans know all too well that Ms. DiMera will likely have a good reason to keep him around, for blackmail her own benefit.

Barash notes to SOD that the brothers will back down and allow Dimitri to stay, but they aren’t giving up. They’ll realize that if they are fighting a common enemy together, they’ll be able to survive at DiMera Enterprises for a lot longer than if they are alone.
