Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) literally gets away with murder. Even though Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) stunt got a confession out of him, it was coerced. It’s not admissible and as a result, the case falls apart. However, the good news is Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) is cleared. So what happens now?
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Ciara Brady Uses Extreme Measures
DOOL spoilers previously teased that Ciara would go to drastic measures in order to prove Ben didn’t kill his sister. After spending way too much time chasing the wrong leads, she finally found out the truth. Jordan Ridgeway (formerly Chrishell Stause) was killed by her ex-boyfriend.
DOOL Spoilers – Coerced Confession Tossed
After saving Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) from the deranged nanny, Ciara dragged Evan to the prison. Forcing her way past the guards, she got the confession she needed. However, as we previously speculated, coerced confessions are inadmissible. This means there is no evidence proving Evan committed murder.
As a result, they have no choice but to drop the case and let Evan go.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Ben Weston Released
Ben and Ciara are very lucky how this is turning out for them. The young executive’s extreme actions could have ended with her own prison sentence. Despite Evan’s confession being tossed, Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Ben still gets released. He finally has regained his freedom and will forever be thankful to Ciara.

DOOL – Evan Frears Fights For Custody?
Evan seems pretty focused on raising David Ridgeway (Kyler and Caleb Ends). It is hinted that his next step is to get custody. With Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) help, Evan might have a chance of winning. Despite everyone knowing that Evan killed Jordan Ridgeway (formerly Chrishell Stause), there is no conviction. So, it can’t be used against Evan in court. It’s true that Jordan wanted Rafe to take care of the boy, not Evan. However, he could claim Jordan was too unstable to make sound decisions.
Rafe has to prove that Evan is unfit, which will be difficult. After all, Rafe hired him as the child’s caregiver, to begin with. Perhaps he can find something in Evan’s past. The only other option is charging Evan with a crime. Kidnapping David and pointing a gun at Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) come to mind. We will have to keep watching to see how this storyline develops.
