Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Hope Catches Ted In A Lie

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Hope Hernandez (Kristian Alfonso) will get a big surprise. In recent weeks, she’s gotten closer to Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) and has developed a considerable amount of trust in him. Ted was by her side when she needed help going after Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), and he really put himself out for her on several occasions.

Hope has developed a relationship with Ted, despite the protests and warnings from her husband Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). Rafe hasn’t trusted Ted from the get-go, and he doesn’t like all the time Ted is spending around Hope. Rafe even suspected that Hope and Ted were having an affair at one point.

But through it all, Hope has insisted she’s not interested in Ted, and there’s nothing going on between them. However, it’s been pretty clear from the beginning that Ted has wanted Hope as more than just a friend and colleague, and something will happen soon that will indicate Hope may be feeling something more for Ted as well.

According to Days spoilers, Hope will soon catch Ted in a big lie. Exactly what the lie is remains to be seen, but it could have to do with his role in blackmailing Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) a while back, or perhaps it is something more personal.

A while back, when Hope was hiding Ted from Stefan DiMera (Tyler Christopher), she was telling him she didn’t want to lose another child, referring to the loss of her son Zach Brady (Garrett and Spencer Gray). At the time, Ted indicated he had suffered a similar loss, but it could be he was just lying to get close to Hope.

Days Of Our Lives – Does Hope Have Feelings For Ted?

Whatever the lie is, it will soon be exposed, and Hope is going to be very upset with Ted over the tall tale. It seems Hope will feel betrayed by the lie, but wouldn’t that indicate she must have developed some feelings for him? After all, it’s hard to feel betrayed by someone you don’t care about.

At any rate, the lie may cause a rift between Hope and Ted going forward, which should make things interesting since Ted is now the interim DA and working very closely with Hope. What do you think Ted’s big lie will be?
