Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will reach a new low. He’s been turning his family and friends’ lives upside down ever since he re-emerged in Salem on New Year’s Eve. Under Eve Donovan’s (Kassie DePaiva) influence, Jack has managed to alienate his loved ones by acting in ways uncharacteristic of him.

As DOOL viewers know, Jack used to be a caring and compassionate guy who was good friends with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). But now he’s involved in a contentious mayoral race with Abe, and he seems hell-bent on making Abe’s life miserable. Jack and Eve are constantly taunting Abe and getting under his skin with insults and insinuations.

Jack is running a dirty campaign, and while Abe would like to run based on the issues, Jack’s got other things in mind. And at the next mayoral debate, Days of Our Lives spoilers say that Jack will pull a big stunt designed to turn voters against Abe based on lies and innuendo. And it will involve Sheila Watkins (Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins).

According to DOOL spoilers, Jack will be keeping an eye on Abe and Sheila. He noticed an argument between the mayor and his assistant, and he suspected that there may be more to their relationship than just employer/employee. Of course, Jack would like nothing more than to expose a scandal in his opponent’s life, and Abe having an affair with his assistant would certainly be a scandal in many people’s eyes.

It looks like Jack will have Abe and Sheila followed, and he’ll end up capturing a huge moment between them. Of course, DOOL viewers know that Abe and Sheila are sort of attracted to each other, but each of them seems unsure about how or whether to proceed. Finally, the two of them will test the waters with a kiss, but they’ll determine that they didn’t really feel anything and they’ll just let the issue die.

But Jack will have a video of the kiss, and at the mayoral debate, he’ll splash a big picture of the kiss up on a screen. He’ll likely blast Abe for having an “inappropriate’ relationship with his assistant and embarrass both Abe and Sheila. And according to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Abe’s girlfriend Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) will be on hand for the big show.

Of course, Valerie will be horrified by the display, and Abe will have some serious explaining to do. Ultimately, the whole thing will get resolved with Abe and Valerie going their separate ways and Sheila leaving Salem, so there will be some real fallout from Jack’s actions.

How the voters respond to Jack’s stunt remains to be seen, but chances are it won’t be good for Abe, who will have some explaining to do to his constituents as well. And it will probably put Jack ahead in the polls, at least for a while. Do you think that Jack will be the next mayor of Salem?
