Ben was not pleased to encounter his father in prison. At first, Clyde expressed nothing short of sheer glee thinking that Ben killed his sister, Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Hartley). When Ben set his father straight on the facts, then he changed a tune a bit.

Clyde came up with an outrageous plan to clear Ben’s name. However, he was really doing it so he could cut himself a sweet deal. Things didn’t go according to plan, as fans recently discovered.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Clyde will direct his anger at Will. It is speculated that after Ben denies telling anyone, including Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) about the kidnapping scheme, Clyde finds someone else to blame. It seems that person is Will Horton. It is revealed that Clyde tries to attack the young man.

DOOL Spoilers – James Read Exit Date

According to Soap Opera Digest, no exit date has been announced. However, it is temporary and happens sometime this week. We know this because Clyde doesn’t get out of prison and it doesn’t appear that Ben does either. But Clyde does go into solitary confinement.

That seems to suggest that it is just a temporary exit and Clyde could come back. When he does, he could be angrier than ever and look to take it out on his own son. To find out, fans will just have to keep watching the NBC soap opera.
