DOOL spoilers reveal that Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was shocked to see Jan with a giant baby bump. Jan claimed that the baby belonged to Shawn, but Belle didn’t believe it. Once Shawn admitted that something did happen between the sheets, a paternity test was ordered.

At first, Jan didn’t want the paternity test to be done, so that was a clue. However, she eventually agreed, and the test showed Shawn was the father.

Remember, at the time the devil was still in full force, so that could explain the positive paternity test. It’s also possible that Jan had inside connections that allowed the test to be tampered with.

For several weeks now, Jan has been mentioning possible baby names. Jan seems insistent that the baby gets a name related to Shawn’s side of the family. This is likely because Jan doesn’t want anyone to forget that the baby belongs to Shawn.

All of Jan’s baby name suggestions were for girls, though. The baby turned out to be a boy and currently doesn’t have a name. It is speculated that Jan might name the baby after Shawn.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Baby’s Health Crisis Requires Testing

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the baby was born prematurely. Even though Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) told Belle that the baby was fine, a lot of premature children have medical problems. It’s possible that Jan’s baby will have some sort of health emergency or diagnosis that requires something from a biological parent.

That is how Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) baby switch was discovered. A similar situation could happen with Jan’s baby.

Most fans want Shawn and Belle back together. There is no way that Belle would be able to raise Jan’s baby. So, the baby either needs to pass away or it has to belong to someone else. Some fans are convinced that Shawn isn’t the father, which will be the only way “Shelle” can get back together.
