Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford) seemingly disowned wayward daughter Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) once and for all when he gave her an ultimatum.

Jack told Gwen that she either go to the authorities and tell them everything she knows about Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) kidnapping Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) or he would have nothing to do with her going forward. That would also mean that Gwen would no longer have a place to live or work.

Gwen couldn’t turn her back on Xander no matter what Jack threatened her with.. Look for Gwen to show up on Xander’s door after her great sacrifice. There is no way that Gwen would turn Xander in. Even though he is still married to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Gwen is still madly in love with Xander. Even if she couldn’t be with him herself, there is no way Gwen would ever be responsible for putting Xander away. This isn’t the first time that Gwen has kept quiet in order to protect someone, although Jack seems to have forgotten that fact.

Last year, Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) was not in a good place. The daughter that Jennifer shared with Jack, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) was murdered. Even worse, it took several months for the true killer to be caught.

During that time, Jennifer found herself once again addicted to painkillers. While she was high, Jennifer got in her car and accidentally ran down Gwen. Jennifer eventually realized what she did and told Gwen what had happened.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Gwen Rizczech Let Jennifer Horton Go!

Gwen could have prosecuted Jennifer for the hit and run. But she kept quiet while Jennifer went to rehab. Jennifer is due back in Salem any day now so look for to remind Jack that could still have Jennifer arrested if she so chose. But she kept quiet, just as she is doing for Xander. Jennifer will likely push Jack to forgive Gwen for protecting Xander, because he had no problem when she did the exact same thing to protect her. But will that be enough to change Jack’s mind?
