Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Clyde and Nancy dated a long time ago. It was Nancy’s first relationship after her failed marriage. Nancy was insecure and Clyde was actually pretty good at making her feel better about herself.

However, Clyde also was just using Nancy in his fake reform story. Clyde also likely hoped to use Nancy as an alibi in his crimes.

In any case, the fact that the soap made it clear that Clyde still is using Nancy’s name as his password suggests there could be a reason why.

Joy and Clyde never met and she wasn’t even in Salem when Nancy was before. However, fans know that soaps love to rewrite history so that newer storylines make sense. Now, Clyde must have left a will or something.

Clyde has a pretty successful criminal operation. Clyde wouldn’t be able to leave it to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) or even Nancy. Neither would do what Clyde would want with this business.

What if for some reason, Clyde left it to Joy? It would provide an interesting twist, and could give Joy some much-needed leverage in Salem… especially against EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel)!
