As every Days of Our Lives viewer knows, Julie is bold, and she is also outspoken! She tells exactly what she thinks, and would not make a very good politician or diplomat. She doesn’t mince words and is extremely honest! Kayla has talked to several close friends and her brother Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about the heartache she has suffered since her ex-husband Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) has come back to Salem.

Of course, viewers know it’s Stefano DiMera (Stephen Nichols) in Steve’s body, but neither Julie, Roman, or Kayla know that. That alone would account for his coldness and perceived cruelty. But Kayla moved on with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) – or has she? That is one thing that Julie will address to Kayla when Kayla talks to her about Steve!

This might sound like something Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) should have talked to Kayla about but didn’t when they talked. Julie will challenge Kayla first with the question – who does she want, Justin or Steve? For moving on with Justin, Kayla seems to be very upset about Steve, and that makes her sound like she really hasn’t emotionally moved on from Steve! If Steve were dead, and Kayla had been widowed, having baggage for him would be more understood and more acceptable.

But if she’s carrying a torch for Steve then she needs to break up with Justin, nobody wants to share their girlfriend with an ex-husband, even if it is only emotionally; Justin deserves Kayla’s whole heart, not just part of it! Of course, there are those that think Justin moved on from Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans Luciano) way too quickly – she died in May and he was involved with Kayla by November! But you don’t see him carrying a torch for her! Kayla had been seeing Justin several months before she received the signed divorce papers from Steve as well, and some people would have a problem with that too!

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Make Up Your Mind – And Move On!

Julie will tell Kayla to make up her mind and move on – either from Steve or from Justin! If she wants Justin, move on from Steve, and if she wants Steve, break up with Justin and go after Steve and win him back!

Kayla will tell her about Steve saying he had moved on with another woman but wouldn’t tell her who she is. Julie will tell Kayla if she’s truly moved on from Steve and they are divorced, that he was correct – it’s none of her business! Kayla, of course, wants to know all about Steve’s new woman because her self-esteem has taken a hit, and she wants to see for herself what this new woman has that she doesn’t – is Steve not telling her because he’s having a mid-life crisis and the woman is in her twenties?

The more Kayla goes on about Steve, the more Julie will see that Kayla is still in love with Steve and needs to break up with Justin until she can give him her whole heart and Julie’s bold advice to Kayla will be to do so!
