There have been rumors in the past about her leaving, so it was hard for viewers to believe that this was a real announcement. However, it turned out to be true. While difficult for her loyal fans to accept, everyone understands her decision.

DOOL Star Not Quitting?

Recently, a popular soap site published a headline implying that Alfonso was not quitting after all. However, that’s not exactly true. The DOOL star was not referring to the soap. She was talking about acting in general. This is because in previous interviews, she indicated that she was not sure if she was going to continue acting or not. It seems that now, she realizes that acting is something she wants to continue to do.

Plus, she is getting calls, so we expect to see her in a new project in the near future. We are very relieved to hear that she wants to continue acting!

Alfonso’s final episode will air sometime in October 2020. However, don’t expect to see her exit scene. She still had “open scripts” when she left DOOL. She is not going to return to the set to finish filming those, which means that she will appear one day, and be gone the next. Why she is no longer in Salem will most likely be mentioned by one of the characters. That’s usually how it’s done when there is an abrupt exit.
