He is finally going to make it back to Salem after helping villagers in the Congo. However, it is also stated that Nicole gets upsetting news. Could Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) die while trying to get back home?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Fate Always Intercepts ‘Ericole’

DOOL spoilers reveal that Eric and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) have always encountered obstacles when trying to be together. At one point, Nicole even died, which fans thought ended “Ericole” forever. However, she was eventually found to be alive and came home to Salem with her young daughter. Fans were really happy when Eric (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole got married. Around that time, Vaughan announced he had left the NBC soap opera. Fans wondered how the story would be written. Eventually, we learned that Eric would get an offer to go back to the Congo and help villagers. He was going to turn it down, but Nicole made him follow his heart.

It seems that fate also wouldn’t let Eric come home for any visits. Something always happened, so that has made the separation even harder for Nicole.

DOOL Spoilers – Eric Brady Returning

It is confirmed that during the week of February 1, Nicole is excited as she prepares for Eric to finally come home. As we previously speculated, that doesn’t mean Eric will make it back to Salem. Vaughan hasn’t shown any interest in returning to the soap. They could have Eric’s return be off-screen or the character could be recast. However, it seems more likely that the couple will be ripped apart, most likely by death. There are already a few clues that’s exactly what’s going to happen.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Nicole Walker Brady Devastated

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Nicole gets upsetting news the same week she’s getting ready for Eric to come home. Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) rape story is wrapping up, so we don’t think it has to do with that. It is most likely referring to Eric. While “upsetting” doesn’t seem to accurately describe grief, there is another clue that Eric dies before making it home.

DOOL Spoilers – Comforted By Rafe Hernandez

On Tuesday, February 2, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) comforts Nicole. So, that suggests she gets some really bad news. Plus, we know that Rafe and Nicole will be paired up as a couple sometime this year. In order for that to happen, Eric has to be out of the picture. We can’t see Nicole cheating on Eric while he’s off doing good works in the Congo. Plus, Allie would have serious issues with her uncle being betrayed.

The only other possibility is that “Ericole” gets divorced, but there have been no affairs, no lying, and no fights. Of course, they have barely been together since getting married, but feeling lonely isn’t a good enough reason for “soulmates” to get divorced only a few months after tying the knot.
