Even though she might have feelings for the much younger man, Kate knows deep inside that Jake’s not over Gabi. As much as she thinks she loves him, it’s never going to last.

It is teased that Jake will start having dreams about Gabi. Just imagine how Kate will react if Jake happens to mumble Gabi’s name in his sleep. That certainly won’t go over well and will just widen the already existing rift that is starting to develop between them. There is also the fact that Gabi ends up moving back into the DiMera mansion. Jake questions her about it but she probably won’t tell him the truth. After all, she needs to stop acting desperate and chasing after a man. Instead, she should try to move on… even if she has to fake it… and eventually Jake will be the one chasing her.

With head writer Ron Carlivati confirming that Gabi will eventually get her man, where does that leave Kate? Koslow has already expressed the desire for Kate to get a real love story. Plus, fans have been wanting Roman to be given a decent storyline. With these two having history, perhaps they will be paired together again.

DOOL Spoilers – ‘Kaman’ Reunite?

There is reason to believe that Roman and Kate might be sharing more Days of Our Lives scenes together. She really needs to find someone around her own age. Jake is far too young for her and they really make an odd couple. So, when Jake and Gabi get together, could Roman and Kate find their way back into each other’s arms?
