Days of Our Lives Spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) cheated on Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) with Nicole Walker (Arianna Zucker). Ava was devastated and decided to take revenge. Unfortunately, Ava went to far when she had Rafe framed for tampering with evidence in his role as Police Commissioner. He was found not guilty of all charges and Ava is currently a fugitive for framing him. If found guilty, Ava will likely face prison. But is that the right thing considering what Nicole and Rafe did to her?

Ava worked hard to move past her mobster life and wanted to be a better person that her son, Dr. Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) could admire. But Nicole and Rafe’s betrayal hit Ava hard, and she used her mob connections to have Rafe framed. While her actions are in no way excusable, Rafe and Nicole will realize that they are far from innocent either. What they did to Ava was also inexcusable.

DOOL Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Could Have Been Honest!

If Rafe had just been honest with Ava about his feelings for Nicole, the whole thing might have been avoided. Ava would still have been devastated, but at least Rafe would have respected her enough to tell the truth. Instead, he led Ava to believe that everything was ok. So she lashed out, in the only way she knew how. She fell back in to her old life and as much as she wanted to change, her darker impulses took over.

Since Rafe was found innocent of all charges, perhaps he and Nicole can look within themselves and will realize their part. There has already been too much pain between them. Perhaps the only way for everyone to move forward is to stop the cycle. If Rafe and Nicole refuse to testify against Ava, she could have another chance. Ava can try to move forward with her life without Rafe, and Rafe and Nicole can finally be happy together.
