Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will soon bring in a suspect in Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) murder. Clyde Weston (James Read) will be caught holding the bag, so to speak after Nancy Miller (Patrika Darbo) is found wearing Abigail’s jewelry in upcoming DOOL episodes!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Clyde Weston Takes A Bag Of Hot Jewelry From Leo Stark

The first mistake Clyde made was to take a bag of hot jewelry from Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) who Clyde didn’t know. If Nancy had been there she would have recognized Leo as the man who almost married her ex-husband Craig Wesley (Kevin Spritas) and ruined her life! She would have told Clyde to give the smarmy skank the bum’s rush, and with his prison record Clyde should have passed on the jewelry knowing it was hot anyway!

But Clyde wanted to impress his lady love and didn’t know where to get quality jewelry like that on the cheap. So, regardless of where the rest of the jewelry wound up Nancy got a nice bracelet out of it – which Rafe recognizes as part of Abigail’s stolen jewelry!

DOOL Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Brings In Nancy Miller For Questioning

Rafe has to bring in Nancy for questioning as to where she got the bracelet from and she’ll be truthful that it was a gift from Clyde. Receiving stolen goods could get Clyde in trouble and mess up his parole, even if it wasn’t done on purpose. There is a possibility that Abigail’s DNA could still be on the bracelet as well, although Leo might have been smart enough to clean the jewelry. He was scared enough of being connected to Abigail’s murder that he easily gave it to Clyde just to get rid of it, though, and there is honor among thieves! That means criminals know not to rat each other out, although in the case of this particular rat Clyde might squeal, once he finds out from Nancy who he is!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Arrests Clyde Weston As A Person Of Interest

With Clyde’s record combined with Nancy wearing Abigail’s bracelet, Rafe cannot get out of arresting Clyde as a person of interest in Abigail’s murder. This will be right before Ben and Ciara Weston (Robert Scott Wilson, Victoria Konefal) sail out of Salem on their boat, along with baby Bo Weston (Cody and Warren Krasnow). Clyde will swear to Ben he’s innocent, but Ben and Ciara are not able to postpone their plans and stay to help Clyde.

Clyde will be forced to break the honor among thieves code and point the finger at Leo as the one he got the goods from! But Leo is slippery as an eel, and he’ll find some way out of it, even if it’s just simply to say Clyde is lying!

DOOL Spoilers – Other Suspects Will Emerge

Since this is a murder mystery, other suspects will be certain to emerge; somehow Clyde will be questioned and released and Rafe will move on to other persons of interest. In the meantime, Chad  DiMera (Billy Flynn) will rage against Clyde when he finds out he’s a suspect! Perhaps Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) will finally tell Chad about the tooth fairy and describe Leo, and that will free Clyde! EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) will want revenge on Clyde, but even more on Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) who already fears he killed his niece! EJ and Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) will feel renewed sparks and that will give EJ motive to frame Lucas while Chad realizes something – will Lucas be the next arrest?
