Days of Our Lives Spoilers tease that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) may very well come back to a brand-new police force once he is finally rescued from his kidnapper Whitley King (Kim Coles).

Despite a recent company policy that prohibits fraternizing between co-workers on the force, Police Commissioner Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) has begun sleeping with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu), the newest member of the force. But there are more problems within the force as well.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Shawn Brady is drinking on the job!
If that wasn’t bad enough, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) was recently traumatized after shooting his own father who he had believed was dead for over a decade. Because of this, Shawn has begun drinking excessively, including when he’s on the clock.
Once this is pointed out to Rafe, the Commissioner will have no choice except to put Shawn on suspension. But Shawn won’t go down without a fight! Look for him to lash out about Rafe’s own indiscretion with Jada!
Unfortunately, the worst person possible will overhear Shawn’s rant at Rafe. The acting mayor will make a shocking decision. And while Rafe may be suspended as well, it seems more likely that he will lose his job since he is the highest-ranking officer in the situation.

And while Jada may be punished as well, she might not be punished quite so severely. She will likely either get a slap on the wrist or at worst, a suspension. This could certainly cause some friction between the new couple.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez may regret sleeping with Jada Hunter!
If Rafe loses his job and Jada doesn’t, it could cause such a large divide between them that they will end their relationship. This would be unfortunate because Rafe and Jada really are good for each other. If Rafe has to lose his job, hopefully he won’t lose Jada as well.
Rafe has been unlucky in love for quite some time so it would be a shame to have to give that up. Perhaps he could go to work for Black Patch. Regardless, look for big changes to the ranks of the department by the time Abe returns to the office of Mayor.
