DOOL spoilers reveal that we will see Rafe (Galen Gering) and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) return toward the end of November 2020. When Rafe comes back to town, he expects to see Hope and continue rekindling their romance. He has no idea of the terrible things that have happened since he’s been gone.

DOOL Spoilers – Hope Brady Is Gone

When Rafe returns to Salem, he will find out that there’s no chance of him having a future with Hope. (Kristian Alfonso) That’s because while he was hiding out in Mexico with his family, Hope decided to leave town. There is no indication of her coming back, which means Rafe once again has a broken heart. However, it is understandable why Hope couldn’t stay in a place where she has lost pretty much everyone she’s ever loved. Everything would be a constant reminder of the family members she has lost, including Ciara.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe will also be shocked to learn that Ciara was killed in an explosion. Rafe viewed and treated Ciara like she was his own. Plus, for a short time, he was her stepfather. So, it will be devastating for him to learn about her death and how it happened.

DOOL Spoilers – Character Heads In New Direction

So, what’s in the future for Rafe? Well, head writer Ron Carlivati spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the character. He confirmed that Rafe has no idea of everything that’s happened since he’s been gone. He will have to deal with Hope suddenly disappearing and Ciara dying. Then, there is now out of control Salem got with all the villains and criminals running around.

It is teased that Rafe will be headed in a new direction, but what exactly does that mean? We will have to keep watching to find out.
