Although everyone thinks it’s because their mother is sick in Mexico, it’s really due to Eduardo Hernandez’s (A Martinez) shady dealings. Now, when Rafe comes back, it won’t be the same town he left. There hasn’t been a hero to save Salem from the multiple villains that are running around.

To get revenge, Vincent kidnapped Ciara and will make Ben believe that she dies in an explosion. So, Rafe will get filled in on all these startling events when he finally returns to Salem. He will certainly have a lot to deal with, both personally and professionally.
