Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease all the recent drama at University Hospital may lead to someone losing their job. Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has come under fire for recent actions. And these things could cost Kayla her job!

Kayla has long been one to bend the rules without many consequences. Last year, she helped John Black (Drake Hogestyn) spirit a comatose Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to an unused part of the hospital while Hattie Adams (also Deidre Hall) impersonated.

This was done to keep Belle Black (Martha Madison) from taking Marlena off the machines keeping her alive. Everything worked out in the end because Marlena did wake up. But Kayla used her position as Chief of Staff to deceive family members.

Even more recently, Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) came into the hospital from a gunshot wound, among other injuries. Much like Marlena had been, Kate was left alive only by machines.

When Julie Williams (Susan Seathford Hayes) needed a new heart, Kayla ran all the tests and concluded that not only did Kate have little to no chance of survival, but her heart was viable for transplant. Kate’s family agreed to give Julie Kate’s heart. Kate woke up just before being wheeled into surgery.

Once Kate woke up, she was furious with Kayla for telling her family that she would not be waking up! Viewers know, that the reason Kate woke up was because Dr. Wilhelm Rolf injected Kate with his miracle serum. So even though Kayla’s diagnosis was correct, no one knows that. And speaking of Dr. Rolf…

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Mad Scientist Dr. Rolf Allowed Access To A Lab

Dr. Rolf, basically a mad scientist, was given access to a lab by Kayla in order to help Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford). Rolf needed a lab in order to create a serum so that Jack could regain his memory. But Jack got his memory back on his own, and Rolf continued to use the lab to work on “Special projects”.

The real reason Rolf needed the lab, besides helping Jack, was a nefarious plan involving Hope Williams (Kristian Alfonso). It’s not yet know exactly what Rolf did to Hope, but his access to the lab certainly helped him with his mysterious mission. Kayla has since kicked Rolf out of the lab, but the damage has been done.

It’s quite likely Kate will go to the hospital board with her concerns about Kayla. With all of the above information provided to them, the board may have no choice but to let Kayla go. What do you think?
