Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Rex Asks Eric To Officiate At His Wedding To Sarah – Is Eric Still In Love With Her?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) will soon have a big request for his brother Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). As DOOL viewers know, Rex is currently engaged to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), and the two of them have recently decided to get married asap. And this has left Eric with very mixed feelings.

Of course, Eric has had a really hard time lately. As DOOL viewers know, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) – who is actually Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in disguise – rejected him and threw him out of her life after blaming him for Holly Jonas’ (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory) “death.”

That left Eric devastated, since Nicole is the love of his life. But that’s not the extent of Eric’s troubles; he’s also in love with Sarah, whom he fell in love with before “Nicole” returned from the dead. But there’s a big complication, since Sarah is involved with Rex. It’s a real mess.

But the bottom line is that Eric hasn’t forgotten about his feelings for Sarah. In fact, Sarah and Eric recently shared a forbidden kiss, so it’s clear that there are still feelings between them. But Eric refuses to act further on his feelings, since Sarah is engaged to his brother. Eric already stole a woman from his other bother Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and he doesn’t want to go down that road again.

And as DOOL viewers know, Rex is oblivious to the strong romantic feelings that exist between Sarah and Eric. He knows that they have a close friendship, but he doesn’t know that it has developed into something more. As far as Rex knows, Eric is completely in love with Nicole and only Nicole.

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Rex will soon make a move that will send Eric reeling. Of course, Eric used to be a priest, and he’s able to officiate at weddings, so Rex will decide that he wants his brother to marry him and Sarah. He’ll ask Eric to officiate at his wedding, and that will put Eric in a very uncomfortable position.

DOOL Spoilers: Eric Brady Will Perform His Brothers Wedding Ceremony

Under normal circumstances, Eric would probably be thrilled to conduct his brother’s wedding ceremony, but since he’s in love with Sarah, the thought of officiating will be horrifying for him. But DOOL spoilers say that Eric will ultimately agree to perform the ceremony, despite having feelings for Sarah. He’ll know that he and Sarah can never be together, so he’ll say yes.

Of course, whether Rex and Sarah’s wedding will ever occur is an open question. As DOOL viewers may know, Kyle Lowder, who portrays Rex, is set to exit the show this summer, so we may ultimately not see a completed wedding for him and Sarah.
