Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Rex Learns Philip Is Alive!

Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that a tragedy like no other is about to come to Salem. As viewers know, last fall Orpheus (George Delhoyo) infected Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), Dr. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) with a rare biotoxin.

The three women were all saved by a cure found from a rare lotus flower supplied anonymously to them by Kristen DiMera (Stacey Haiduk). Unfortunately, the lotus has gone missing so there will be no reprieve for the women once it became apparent that a second dose would be needed. Expect all three women to pass away.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Rex Brady Will Take The Loss Extremely Hard!

Kate’s son, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) helped treat the women the first time the disease almost killed them. He was happy that he was able to be able to save his mother and the other two women.

Losing Kate will be devastating to Rex especially because he also believes that he lost his brother, Phillip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) earlier this year. And while Rex will surely be comforted by Sarah Horton (Lindsey Godfrey), it will be his brother Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) who will provide Rex with a bit of good news.

Lucas and Kate both know a family secret. Although Phillip faked his own death, he is actually alive and getting treatment for his mental heath. But because Phillip would be arrested for faking his death, Kate and Lucas have kept the fact that Phillip is alive a secret. Lucas is currently serving time for kidnapping Sami Brady (Allison Sweeney) earlier this year, so when Rex comes to visit with the bad news about Kate, Rex will likely learn the truth about Phillip! Although nothing can take away from Kate’s death, finding out that Phillip is alive may take some of the sting away.

Although he will have to keep the secret about Phillip, he should feel a little better once he discovers his brother is actually alive. Phillip will also have to told about Kate, so look for that task to fall to Rex as well. Look for him to confide in Sarah and the two of them break the news about Kate. But all hope may not be lost and a miracle may still be in the offing for Kate. Things are about to get very exciting in Salem!
